When and why did you decide to do something non-clinical?

After the pandemic, I wanted to spend time with my two-year-old daughter, and that’s when I decided to find something that I can do from home.

What are you doing these days?

I work at a startup company called JOGO Health, who makes biofeedback units to treat tremors, pelvic floor dysfunction, migraines and MSK conditions via in-person appointments and via telehealth.

I also do new hire training, documentation audits, and I train other healthcare providers about our device.

Are you still treating patients, or are you solely non-clinical?

I am still treating patients.

What percentage of your time is spent clinically vs. non-clinically?

I spend 15-20 hours a week treating patients, and the rest of the time is non-clinical.

How long have you been in your current telehealth role?

Since August 2023.

Did you get any special certifications or training along the way to help you get into your current role?
